I found this beer when I went to an old bottle shop that I used to go from my old place. they were selling Canadian beer and this one stood out to me. I also have not tasted a lot of sours so this shall bee interesting to me this week I try Love buzz by strathcona
when I have a look at this beer it has a definite orange colour to it. though it is quite transparent not hazy at all. when I look at the carbonation there is not that much. I can see hardly any when I look closely
taking a smell I can smell quite a lot of strawberry, which is not unusual as it is a strawberry and grapefruit sour. When I take my first sip, it is really quite sour, and I get hit with the grapefruit flavour. but I do taste the sweet flavours coming through with that lingering sour taste. I actually am quite partial to sour flavour so I do like this sweet and sour taste. there is also a slight acidic taste to this.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. its mis of strawberry and grapefruit work well together. I had been having a pretty bad day but this actually raised my sprits a little when I finally tasted it. This is very much a summer beer, and I would highly digest that if you like sours then give this one a try. you won’t regent it. But what do you think. Do you agree with me or not. Have you tried this beer? if so let me know what your thoughts were.
